New tenant in Cross Point office building

Cross Point office building in Łódź has got a new tenant - in August 2012 Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A will move into the building, occupying 800 m2 office area for Łódzkie Centrum Biznesowe and Raiffeisen Leasing SA. department.

The company will take part of second floor in the office building at Marszałka Edwarda Śmigłego - Rydza 20. Lease contract has been signed for 5 years.



Warsaw, 2 January 2012 – IVG announced the acquisition of Mlodziejowski Palace (Miodowa 10) office building for approximately EUR 22.4 million from a company managed by Mermaid Properties. The property was acquired for IVG Warschau Fonds, an investment fund managed by IVG Institutional Funds GmbH.

‘It is one of the most high profile office transactions of the year and we are pleased to add Mlodziejowski Palace to our growing office portfolio’ – said Maciej Zajdel, Managing Director of IVG Poland. ‘Warsaw remains the focus for international capital and this acquisition reinforces the international appeal of Warsaw for real estate investors, recognizing the long term strength of capital of Poland office market. Mlodziejowski Palace is the third building acquired for the recently launched IVG Warsaw Fund (Warschau Fonds)’ – he added.

Rewards for MP during Eurobuild Gala

During this year's Eurobuild Awards 2011 gala Mermaid Properties won in two cathegories:

- The Best Office Building according to tenants - Cross Point building in Łódź was the winner, 
- The Best Building Manager according to tenants - the Manager of Cross Point, mr. Grzegorz Zawada, was the winner. 

The second edition of the gala was held on 8th December at the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw. Gala was led by Grazyna Torbicka. "Eurobuild Awards" is an event that attracts key representatives of the Polish real estate market and the region of Central and Eastern Europe. The evening included a performance by Kayah and other well known stars.


A new tenant in Cross Point building

Cross Point Building in Łódź has got a new tenant - in February 2012 Ernst & Young will occupy space in the building. The international consulting company leased 330 m2.

The company will occupy first floor in the building at Marszałka Edwarda Śmigłego - Rydza 20 in Łódź. Contract has been signed for 5 years. 


A new tenant in Młodziejowski Palace

Mermaid Properties Sp. z o.o., managing the project "Mlodziejowski Palace - Miodowa 10", signed a new lease agreement. The new tenant will be A. T. Kearney.

The new tenant will occupy two floors in Mlodziejowski Palace at Miodowa 10 in the Old TownThe lease agreement was concluded for a period of 5 years. Colliers International was the broker in the transaction.

Space will be occupied by ATKearney - a leading global company offering consulting services in management and has 2,500 employees worldwide.

ATKearney has 54 offices in all major business centers in 37 countries. We are very glad that the company has chosen Mlodziejowski Palace for their Polish headquarters - comments Radasław Sieroń, president of Mermaid Properties.


Construction of Aleksandria launched

Mermaid Properties has started the construction phase of the Aleksandria residential estate on a 1.3 ha site in Aleksandrów Łódzki. Four five-storey buildings are planned, containing 256 apartments of between 27 sqm and 86 sqm. In the first stage, a building with 64 units is to be built, scheduled for completion in autumn 2012. Currently, the homes are being offered in a promotion for PLN 3,660 net per sqm. Opexim is the general contractor of the project, while the architectural design has been prepared by the Pomianowska Wójcik Architektura studio.

Twentieth anniversary of ODIHR

On 17th May 2011 a reception on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODHIR) presence in Poland was held together with celebrating opening of its new premises in Mlodziejowski Palace. The event was supported by Mermaid Properties.

The ceremony was attended by Minister for Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski, who in his speech emphasised the importance of ODIHR's presence in Warsaw for Polish foreign policy. During the ceremony, on behalf of President Bronislaw Komorowski spoke Advisor to the President, Jan Litynski. The ceremony was also attended by OBWE General Secretary, Marc Perrin de Brichambaut and Vice-minister for Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, the country helding the presidency of OBWE in year 2011, Evaldas Ignatavicius.
